MetroLens helps riders view Washington Metro rail arrivals, service alerts, and station information from the iPhone app and widgets.

Common Steps

• Open the app and select a station before adding the widget.
• If arrivals look stale, pull down in the app to refresh.
• On iOS 17 or later, tap the widget refresh icon to refresh Home Screen widget arrivals.
• If a Lock Screen widget does not appear, confirm you are using the latest installed build.

Transit Data

MetroLens uses publicly available WMATA rail data through a MetroLens API proxy. Arrival predictions can change quickly and may be unavailable during WMATA outages or maintenance.
